Checked PCA in the Charlotte area and same thing, end of life. I can understand them removing it for penny deals, but I also used it a lot to try and check inventory at other locations.

If they still have it in stock they will always price adjust because you can simply return one and then go buy one off the shelf, so a price adjust does not hurt them in any way. I have also got home depot to price adjust clearance items a couple of times if it drops shortly after I buy it and...

I have 2 of the GR-100's. They require you have a riving knife or remove the splitter on the older saws. Not super helpful over a standard push block for cutting large pieces but very nice for cutting small strips (most dangerous cut)
