    Glad to hear that someone was able to seize the opportunity. I've been loving my Gear Wrench ones. Has anyone seen a real review of the "new" ones compared to the original USA made ones? I'd be curious to see what differences they find on them.

    It looks like gearwrench changed the part numbers for the new, cheap versions. So at least they aren't trying to pass them off as the same.

    getting warranty on ANY label Armstrong, Gearwrench, Craftsman, or Matco) will be problematic now that Apex shut down Armstrong all together. I still hear they are great though. Im a weekend wrencher, so Im not going to be like to need to warranty them i suspect.
