Mine has the paten# on it. As you can see it is the newer of the two but does still have the red jaw. This pair was my Father's and he got them for Christmas in 1949.

Hi Farmall 1066, I also have a pair of Click Pliers and love them. I have used this pair for many years. I was curious as to what they were valued at when I came across this forum. So thank you for posting this as I have only seen a handful of old timers that still have them. Eliot1
