I've attached a picture of a bolt removed from an old water well hand pump that I'm restoring. Can someone identify the style/type of bolt that it is? The closest thing I've found on the web is one called a railway bolt. My bolt: Railway bolt: http://www.hexbolts.cn/products/railwaybolt1.jpg

Don't know where I would locate a C clip with that kind of width. Looks like I'll need two 9/16 washers and an E clip to make it snug.

Shiftless, I didn't think about holding the washer in place with an e-clip. Good idea. I'll give that a try. Thanks!
