    Mac Tool Cabinet keys?

Those standard toolbox cabinet locks are about the easiest to pick designs there are. I went with a Medeco cylinder off ebay. Abloy is another nice one. I don't suggest losing the key though.

    Help killing vines

I've got a bunch around the stump of a large tree I cut down last year. It was all over the tree and I've just been mowing around it to keep it down. I'm Trying not to use strong chemicals but it would be nice to get rid of it. Digging it up would probably mean getting rid of the stump. I...

    Beginning to hate Craigslist!! arrggghhhh!

Re: Beggining to hate Craigslist!!arrggghhhh! CL is fantastic, surely you guys tried to sell stuff before it was around? Huge huge waste of time and expense. About 70% of the times that I put an ad in the newspaper the person on the phone got the ad wrong then you have to call em back after...

what to do with your tools after...

I just helped a friend with an estate sale for his late grandmothers belongings. It just killed me to see a lifetime of beautiful, quality, carefully selected items liquidated for a pittance. Her house must have looked like an antique shop. In terms of my own things I'm not as worried about...

    LED Shop Light

Beautiful work! There's something about turning mundane things into functional art works that I just love. Good work with the photography too.

    paint for marking tools

Better off buying a letter stamp set and hammering it in, though that's permanent if you have vintage tools or plan to pass them on at some point.

    Finished my garage PC install

I like it! Small and clean. The only thing I would do in addition is some flexible grey wire loom for super stealth and maybe mount it to the back of the monitor..

This thing works like a charm. I like the Pureones because they're available everywhere but I also like the meyle and mann filters. I would like to look at the WIX ones too..

    Computer in the shop?

I like the idea of a tablet but its going to get covered in coolant/oil/brake fluid etc etc. I think, as mentioned by earlier posters, either an expendable keyboard along with a tablet or a cheap CL laptop are the way to go. Maybe with an old pc as a media server/router. Not hard to put...

    Morgan Chicago #40 vise restoration

Well, the carbon graphite seems to last longer as a sacrificial anode and makes less of a mess apparently. I haven't tried it yet though. I think you are right though ZRX61, it's not necessary on this vise. I guess I was thinking more for the cleaning/ paint removal aspect. I do have some...

    Morgan Chicago #40 vise restoration

Greetings, I don't have a garage yet but it is in the works. In the meantime I've caught the vintage vise vice. I have an automotive project that requires a vise and refused to buy foreign made model. I picked up this Morgan Chicago #40. It seems to be in pretty nice shape. I have a few...
