It looks to me as those bubbles resemble solvent pop like on an automotive finish where too fast of a reducer is used in the clear coat and the base coat is still off gassing . I am wondering if you had waited just a bit longer to topcoat if those bubbles would have appeared ?

3 coats really isn't enough for lasting durability . It is really difficult to obtain prefinished hardwood longevity . You should put between 7 - 10 coats of the poly , sanding the first 3 coats and then scuffing the last coats . Pain in the rear , but it will last much longer .

Thank you for all your replies . I did look at the metallics that are being offered but i want to keep with a simple clean look . I think a very light blue or gray will go nicely with the boat .

I hope its going to be clean ! just construction garbage i would imagine . Looking at the rust bullet , it seems to be a little too dark for the look i am wanting to achieve . There is a picture posted on another thread that shows an older black car on a Lt. blue floor and it really looks nice !!

HAHA ! good point !! I am looking for recommendations on which system to use . I am leaning towards the nohr-s as it seems it is one person friendly to apply however , I do like the color of the light blue epoxy . Also , will I be able to apply the nohr-s over vinyl logos ?
