Yeah. . The Carrier unit (link in my first post) is from ACOutlet. I'm sure I could find a slightly cheaper unit but but at what expense in the long run.
Ok. . so my 30' x 40' x 10' in SE Pa. is built and at the stage in committing to heat and possibly ac source. . . I'm having a hard time moving forward with a mini split because I'm not sure I will be happy with the results and longevity of the units.

I hade my 30'x40'x10' sized with a 2.5 Ton / 30,000 btu Carrier unit like the attached below but with 3 head units.. I have not pulled the trigger and really on the fence if a mini split is the direction to go in. Looking at around $4500 complete and not sure it will meet my expectations...
Thanks. . I'm real pleased with the outside and how it fits with the house. My decision to go with a pole barn was because of the cost factor. Even with me framing the inside. . . a stick build would have been considerably more with foundation and such. The pole building and floor cost...
