I pay $7-8 a roll for PLA. It's always a couple bucks cheaper than the cheapest PETG.

Lol. PLA rules because it's dirt cheap and great for prototypes, templates, jigs, measuring tools, it's stiffness, dimensional accuracy etc. I can go on. Not to mention it's more environmentally friendly.

I hate my AMS for drying. My Sovol SH03, on the other hand, is pretty awesome.
