Yes. Same story with Seattle. I've been remodeling a house and no one here lifts a finger for less than $100/hr. Last year, I got a quote to build a 500sf deck and landscape my tiny postage stamp yard - $110k.

I'm going to start an HVAC business in my next life. I think their profit margins are even higher than plumbers. Blows my mind these guys get away with charging as much as doctors, easily $500/hr for installs.

These seem to have good review, but how strong can the suction possibly be through 120v power and a super long hose?

Both of my shop vacs are way too weak. I don't even use the wall mount one anymore because the suction is so poor. What the strongest shop vac available right now? I'd love to find one strong enough to pull dog hair out of car interiors with minimal brushing.

I see so many nice clean garages full of tools, but what about your camping gear, boxes of seasonal items like christmas lights, dog crates, snowboarding gear, pool/lake toys, 50 pound bags of lawn fertilizer, etc. I will never get my head above water on my garage project unless I can figure...
