8ft door is way too short for toys (rv boat camper) my pole barn is 24x40x16 with a 14ft tall door. It is cheap to go up in height and I love having the interior height, swing a ladder or 2x4 around without hitting anything :) my door is 16w14high. for a door that size you have to have a...
while it may not be too much of a problem, its facing to the north, that is where our hardest storms come in. I am not too concerned about it but would like to do something at least.
I did find this product, it might be a PIA to install against corragated tin on the shed side, but maybe if I...
Thanks guys, just going to have to think on this a bit I guess.
It looks like those tri county metal people will custom make any kind of trim piece I could want too.
I would like to revisit this and see if there are any other option.
Update. metal is now on, the corrugations of the lean to roof do not match up with the siding, didnt really think that through I guess... So that might kill the idea above.
So, there is a gap the width of the siding...
Building a lean too on side of the pole barn. What is the best way to make a waterproof transition from the side of the shed to the metal roof of the lean too?? Please tell me I can do something better besides cutting the metal on my shed and tucking flashing under....
Here is a pic, we are...
Thanks K2Orion,
Thats what a couple friends said to do as well. But new motor, try it first, see if it pops on startup, if so I will just run new wire and be done with it.
Thanks for all the help guys!
Could a smaller motor run it? (like the 1hp you said or even a 5hp) Someone stated above that it would burn the motor up. Is that still true being its a 2 stage?
I wish I knew more about this, glad you guys can help.
or should I spend the $$ of some heavy wire and re do it, right now the...
Ok, sounds like I will keep it.
can I get away with a 5hp 19amp so I can stay below the rating of my wire?
Should I spend double on a baldor motor vs this one at tractor supply (mangetek or something like that with year warrany)
It is a 2 stage
I guess I should stick a flashlight in the tank hole and check it out, the tank does look in good shape from the outside, its just been sitting in a barn for 5-6 years.
The air pump seems wheel seems to spin good by hand.
Stepside, sure does sound like a good deal, I have been...
Long story short, a friend offered to sell me an unused but older 80 gallon black max air compressor for my shop. He said take it and try it before I pay. I plugged it in and the motor threw sparks. Took the motor to an electrician said it looked like water had dripped on it over the years...
Will do, so far it seems fine, i have gone around tapping it. those two spots happened in the middle of the garage door at the edge, where the sun hit it the most that day and where the power trowel was last used.
Dan, I saw you trying to post your pics and not working, I grabbed your link and posted them for you below.
Anyone else think that the patch will pop up and leave me with a big epoxy "hole" there?
Is there a colored stain that will somewhat cover up those patches or are they all like staining wood where you would see every concrete mark right through the stain.
thanks again
