well, not all the led lights run DC12 volt. many led lights run AC120V, like GU10/E27 household LED light bulbs are AC120V, so you just need to use them as the other traditional light bulbs. some led lighting, like MR16 LED light bulbs, decorative LED light strips are of DC12V, in these case...
