WTB: Plomb/Proto 4001S Puller tensioning screw

I recently purchased a Proto 4001 hub puller on eBay and I neglected to notice that the tensioning screw was missing the tip. I don’t want to buy a whole set again, so I was hoping that somebody might have the screw or even just the tip for sale. Thank you

1920-60s DELTA / ROCKWELL picture thread - Post your Delta!

Thanks again for the tips! I was able to remove the Craftsman MSA from the Delta easily after loosening the Allen screw. I am now moving on turning the motor to the correct position and reversing the wires per the instructions that you shared. I have found a cover plate on the Bay that looks...

Such great information again, thanks! I may just leave it as is and see how long my OCD will allow it.

One more question, do you think that the motor is installed upside down to accommodate for the on/off being on the operator's right? I noticed the exposed wires on the bottom where a plate may go. Thank you! (sorry about these neophyte questions)

I appreciate that tip! Thank You!! I tend to get obsessed with these things too. I went through it with my Rock Island vise a few years back.

Thank you so much for that information! I thought that that pulley looked a little bit low. Who knows, someone may want to do a trade for the Delta version or for a retirement lamp? Pretty excited about this and to be honest, I don’t think I would’ve even plugged it in before I checked it out a...

1920-60s DELTA / ROCKWELL picture thread - Post your Delta!

I Love this thread and have been watching for some time. Today I actually get to add one. I had been following a Facebook Marketplace listing for a "DP 22" for months now, but could not make arrangements to transport it from N. AZ to SoCal. The seller wanted $100 which seemed more than fair to...

o'Boy have I neglected my Hein Werner!

Thanks for the comments! A SOLUTION HAS BEEN FOUND! In spending hours enjoying the several Hein Werner posts on GJ, I found myself really drawn to the earlier style Logo and placement of the nameplate (yes, aesthetics are everything. lol), but I still felt familial guilt for neglecting my...

o'Boy have I neglected my Hein Werner!

Sad, but true! It was under a tarp for years, but the water had seeped in from underneath. Lesson learned.

Thanks, the ram is rust welded in place at this point. Replacements seem to be popping up daily too.

o'Boy have I neglected my Hein Werner!

Thanks for the responses! To be fair, I didn't put up a picture of the bottom with the worst corrosion and rusted off springs. Stories of 10 and 45 dollar O'boys are what give me hesitation on the $150.00 one. I will try to be patient for a little while. (I have posted more pictures of the...
