Rained every weekend I had off to work on this, finally I just started framing in the drizzle!

I work at Home Depot so I got to see my lumber leave the store!
I quickly learned after framing this wall that a 28' long 2x6 wall is hard to lift! Built the rest in halfs...

Well its been a few years since I started but I started the new shop... here we go!

I'm in AJ too... just started building my new garage... If I wasn't so lazy about uploading pics to be views I would have a build thread started already!!
But with the steel do you have to rub it down once in a while to prevent rust. I would hate to get rust on everything from time to time when I miss an oiling LOL

Now on to bigger and better things. My new house has no garage... yes you heard that right no garage... so I will be building a new garage 24' x 32' and rebuilding the bar in that garage bigger and better. Wish me luck.
Now for the bad news. After having several get together there including the best Halloween we have ever had. We had to move unexpectedly and I had to remove 80% of all of this from the garage. Here is what it looked like as I cleared it out and closed the garage for the last time.
So now onto the top. I did not want a basic top or anything too flashy really. I had a trunk of my grandparents and in it were lots of old news papers from World War II and some other scrap book stuff from the time period. So I decided to lay that in there and then gel coat the top. Here is...
