I would be interested in this as well.
I've had a few conversations with fred and I'm going to to be purchasing this summer as well. welding/plasma vs the floor has been my #1 concern since thats about 75% of what I do.
doesn't seem to odd to me. You can practicly take a mazad pickup completely apart with just a 10mm.. 14, 15 all over GM stuff only place i've ever used an 11mm is on driveline bolts on fullsize GM but it's nice to have when you need it.
ok this is the way i think i'm going to go..
I'm looking at this pump http://www.eatoncompressor.com/catalog/item/518643/1017632.htm which produces 26cfm at 100 with a 7.5hp motor. I'm thinking of using a 5hp motor and spinning it slower as they recomend for a few reasons but the major being...
thanks i'll look into that.. I don't mind buying new something like those cheap white prefabbed deals at OSH or whatever would work.. just can't find the size. I'd like to end up with enough to go about 8' long on each side of the garage.. but just can't be much over 23" deep with the door open...
I'm trying to find roughly 6 small cabinets (20-24" wide each) to hang between the wall and garage door track. I don't need anything to fancy or heavy duty but they need to be about 23" deep with the door open. narrowest i've found so far is 24 3/8..
any ideas?
I have repaired a quite a few tanks but i take extreme steps to prepare the tank before i will put any flame near it.
a few years back a local guy was welding a tank and it blew up he lived long enough to run out of his buiding and burn to death in his parking lot.
You can never be to cautious...
this is good advice. keep your clamp close and your surface that your clamped to clean. disconnect the battery. make sure fuel, brake, and electrical is out of the way. I always work with a full tank of gas.. although still dangerous a full tank is safer then an empty tank. I also put a...
i don't want to break the bank but i will spend what is needed. 20cfm at 100psi would be great. i was thinking 16-20cfm at 90 or so would be ideal. I'm not opposed to just upgrading the pump and motor on mine but not sure what to look at. I don't want to get another to find out it's just as...
no.. I think your thinking of JD fabworx. I've never met them but i've seen some of there stuff talented group. They came around a few years after i did.
i have been using a 60 gal. 3hp vertical compressor bought from lowes about 7 years ago. Similar to this http://images.lowes.com/product/converted/045564/045564103637md.jpg.
It has always been outside and for the most part has always done a great job. Now i've had to move it inside and...
