I was born in Anchorage, Alaska and grew up outside of Wasilla were I graduated high school in '79. I've worked as a carpenter from the time I was 16. One of my favorite hobbies since I was young was muscle cars and trucks. When I was 21 I started a small restoration/custom shop in Anchorage that I worked at night while I worked construction during the day. I closed that shop in '89 to work as a collision painter at night in a friend's shop. I moved to the Everett area north of Seattle in '93 were I've continued working as a union carpenter and working on cars on the side.

I have 3 great kids from a former marriage of 24 years and my youngest son lives with me.

I like to spend my spare time working on cars, woodworking projects, hiking and riding motorcycles.
