Thanks for the explanation. Bendpak should have made that information available on the website when I ordered my lift rather than me having to find out when the lift arrived and then having to verify the specs through an on-line forum.

From my experience I would make sure the arms extend far/long enough for your intended purposes. I have an HD-9 and a RBJ-4500 and the arms do not extend far enough to lift by the pinch welds on a Honda Accord, Subaru WRX, or the jack pads on a BMW e36. I'm sure this will be the case for many...
