Just measured and it looks like exactly 15".

Just saw your post; I'll measure today, fingers crossed it will fit. Perhaps two sliders could be combined to make one of the proper length? Just need one side, my guess is one slider was removed for repair and then lost forever.

Check out the brutality on this Athol I’m picking up! Originally wanted $100 for it and I got them down to $10. I sort of have a collection of damaged vises I’ve repaired. I wire wheel and BLO them to show off the repairs. Weird I know but a cheaper collection than nice vises!!

Is there anywhere I can find a friction slider for a heritage logo era drawer?

This “vintage” craftsman lathe is being offered nearby for $75; seems complete and comes with accessories. Any info about the model, era or the overall value? I know nothing about lathes.....yet.

Definitely not going to find that cover in my lifetime. However, it seems the logo for my cabinet is on a different drawer than yours....interesting.

Here we go! I tried to take photos of the whole thing and of the slides and the drawer. I almost feel like the drawers aren't in order, the space under the top before the first drawer seems odd. What is in the photo is what I have so no "door" for the front or anything like that....was there...

Just got it for $10! Looks like it will need some love to get the center drawer in, looks like the rail was a bit bent. Photos to come! Can someone tell me the proper way to release the drawers?

I've got an early block grinder and during wind down, about halfway through the wind down the grinder makes a click and sort of a whurring sound and seems to slow down faster. Is this normal or perhaps a bearing issue?
