    Epoxy-Coat & Legacy Industrial Garage

Yes, this diagram is ver helpful. This might be a stupid question but here goes. I've scribed the lines under my doors. Should I run the epoxy right down INTO the scribe cut or stop it just short of the scribe cut right on the edge of the cut? I was going to run some tape either on the inside...

    Type of Grinder to use

From my experience, you were misinformed. My local Home Depot rents the floor maintainer separate from diamabrush but I could also rent the diamabrush and didn't have to purchase one. I think my total out the door for 4 hours was around $120-$130.

To fill or not to fill: Expansion Joint

That's exactly right. Grinding it will give a rougher texture. I was going to do my floor this weekend and was only going to etch but the more I thought about it, I'm going to grind.

    Rustoelum deck restore 10x

I did a 20x20 deck with it and I wasn't happy with it at all. I ended up using way more product than Rustoleum thought I would. I prepped the deck just like they told me to and the applied the product over a 2-day period. (Railing the first day and decking the second). The end result looked...

Notched squeegee or not? Is there a consensus?

Thanks again guys! My epoxy arrived today so my plan is to grind and prep on Friday, spread the base coat and chips on Saturday, and clear on Sunday. I'm gonna stick with a flat squeegee and back roll.

Notched squeegee or not? Is there a consensus?

Thanks for the input guys. I really appreciate it. How do you feel about spreading it with a flat squeegee and then coming behind the squeegee with an 18" roller and backrolling? That's what I was planning on doing but that was before you guys suggested just omitting the squeegee altogether...

Notched squeegee or not? Is there a consensus?

Shea, thanks for the input. No I'm not priming. I was hoping that wouldn't affect my coverage but either way I'm up against my limit. The floor is only 1032 square feet but the knee walls are a little less than 200 square feet so that's how I came up with the 1200 square feet. Maybe I'll do...

Notched squeegee or not? Is there a consensus?

Hi guys, I'm gearing up to do a 1200 square foot garage and I've settled on using the Epoxy-Coat product that I purchased from my local Lowes. I'm doing a dark gray base coat with black, white, gray, and orange chips and will probably do a full chip if my wallet can afford the extra chips. I...
