What if Sears sold ONLY "Made in the USA Craftsman Tools"?

I agree with you there. I see what appears to be the same thing at the two Sears(one on each side of town) here. It's been like that for a while, but they seem to survive. I can't say I know the cause, or the solution, but I wouldn't be surprised to see them die out. Of course I see similar...

What if Sears sold ONLY "Made in the USA Craftsman Tools"?

I buy most of my tools from the truck. Last year I spent over 10K with the Mac guy and I'll probably have spent close to that by the end of this year too. I've been a diesel tech for almost 10 years now and I do have craftsman wrenches and sockets that hold up just fine for the most part...

World's Most Powerful Cordless Impact: Ingersoll Rand W7150

Lithium batteries are best stored with a partial charge. They don't self discharge like other types(or if they do, very slowly). I'm not sure about lithium ion specifically but I do know that with lithium polymer cells, discharging them below a certain voltage will shorten the life of the...

    Polished Concrete

I love the look, the price is a bit of a deterrent. It's not for everyone but if you have the cash why not? I figure it will cost me a little over 1K to tile my garage. That's more within my budget LOL.

New home and tiling the garage slab...

I should be ashamed of myself? For asking a question about tiling my garage in the (gasp) flooring section of a garage forum? I don't think I can respond to that in any way but to laugh at you profusely. I will have fun thank you, and it won't be too difficult.

    Oh hi there

Hi guys, didn't see the intro forum, so I'll do it a few posts late. Name's Bill, I'm originally from Windsor, WI, currently live in Waunakee, WI, where I just moved back about a month ago after spending 7 months in Las Vegas. In the next few weeks I'll be moving to Deerfield, WI where I...

    The Tool Board

I like the idea but I've been working out of a box for so long, I immediately know if something is missing. A board would add clutter to the wall IMO, but that's just my opinion as it would pertain to my personal garage. For a shop type of environment it would work great, other than not being...

New home and tiling the garage slab...

That's about all I needed to know. Thank you very much for taking the time to answer my questions:) The Laticrete, I assume that's a latex additive? I've read elsewhere that it's a good idea to add a latex additive to the thinset.

    Plasma cutter question

I've used a plasma cutter extensively in the past and the advice given is spot on, I just want to stress safety and eye protection. The sunburn thing is no lie... but if you're only doing a tiny section you may not have to worry about that too much. Have fun, you just might want to buy one...

New home and tiling the garage slab...

If you're referring to this one: http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=168233 That's an old, painted and chipped slab. I already read it, but it doesn't much apply to me. I read this thread as well: http://www.garagejournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=159133 And no specific...

New home and tiling the garage slab...

I did some searching and didn't find the exact answers to my questions. If I would have, I wouldn't have posted. But thank you for the non-help Mr. Forum Policeman.

New home and tiling the garage slab...

About to move into my new home. Completed build was in June of 2012. I've decided to go with a tile floor in the garage. It's 22x20. A few simple questions... What prep if any is needed for the floor besides cleaning and degreasing? PEI 5 an absolute requirement for a garage? This won't...
