    Pulled a permit and doing this with my Father-in-law and 1 other friend that has helped. We subbed out the concrete and plan on having someone else hang the metal. Easier to sub out some things when they do it all the time, would take more than 2 people to do, and/or would take 2 people a long...

    Laminated posts are sitting on cement at 4" thick and the pour around them was with the floor at 18" circumference and true 4' plus in depth.

    Floor is 4"+ and was sub-grade done by us to get the full cement. Sumps where the lift will be located is 8". If you let someone else prep the sub-grade and they use 2x4s for skirt boards then you don't get the full 4" of cement.
