    Finishing my garage

Wow. Your garage is sweet! Everything is great, but you've especially inspired me to add some pot lighting. Beautiful car as well, seriously drool-worthy.

    Looking for a screwdriver

A weird idea, but maybe you could get a spade bit, grind off the tip and force it into an old screwdriver handle? Would be lighter than a chisel and the shaft might fit into a handle.

    Canadian Tire Warranty?

I've had too many bad experiences to support Canadian tire. Sometimes I'll buy oil if it's on sale, but other wise it's not worth the hassle. The ones in my area are very poor and most of my friends stopped going there once we all got out of college/university and could afford better...

Can we see some Japanese themed Garages?

I'm also into rotary's, but I grew up around everything(muscle, euro and japanese). I just drive what I like, and turbo rotary's are a lot of fun! Here's a pic(sorry cell) of my FC RX-7. It's not stock ;) I should say that the aerokit and wide fenders (front and rear) are wind-tunnel...

Ontario Canada-30x40 New Modern Design- Need Your Help

Nice! I like your design style and I like your plan so far. Love modern. Although I like those glass style garage doors, I wonder if they have any insulation value? I'm out in Alberta where it's a lot colder (so I'm always thinking about how to stay warm lol), so I'm not sure if it's an issue...

    My New Garage Build

Wow. I really enjoyed reading that! A couple of years ago (I was 25), I blew an engine in the winter. It was my daily driver, but I already had a spare ready to go. The problem was I had to swap it in -20 C (-4 F) and my then new to me garage was only half insulated. It was difficult turning...

So what are some must have tools for working on audi's?

I just did my timing belt on my 2.8 30v A4 and I chose to do it without the cam locking bar. I found it gets in the way. It was easier than changing the cam tensioner gaskets. My recommendation to you would be to check out jhmotorsports.com. They make the best stuff for our cars. Their timing...

So what are some must have tools for working on audi's?

Brake caliper piston tool, cam chain tensioner tool and a vagcom.

Who's the professional here with only one brand of tools? Anyone close?

Out of the tool companies that can actually supply a full-line, there aren't any that produce all of their own tools. Snap-on for instance contracts out all kinds of things, take torque wrenches for instance. They used to be made by Precision Instruments, but switched to someone else. Even if a...

The real reason, it is made in China!/India

It's not so bad in North America. 30% of people in China go without clean drinking water. They are losing 1 million acres a year to desertification and have lost over 28%. They have over 20 percent of the worlds population with less than 10 percent of the worlds farmlands... and they had a...

picked up my vintage gas pump the other day... What do you think?

LoL, I guess if you have a small garage, that might actually be a problem. I suppose you haven't seen the garages posted on this forum... most aren't single car garages. That's a really cool find. Besides the fun factor, it'll only go up in value.
