    New Guy, New garage

I've seen some of these photos on VWVortex. Looks great! Nice charged MkIV. I drive a 2.0L Golf with the plans of running the Neuspeed charger as well (someday).

    Welcome to my little garage!

Wow those structures are amazing! We need to redo the exterior of our detached garage and am strongly considering going with the barn siding. Nice inspiration pics! Is that just transparent plastic sheeting for the roof?

    Need some professional advice (structural)

Heck, if I could afford it now, it'd probably best to just tear the whole thing down and start from scratch. Then I could fix the floor and all. Funds don't allow that though.

Badly cracked concrete - floor covering suggestions needed

Just to clarify....the first two pics are up close pictures. That isn't from standing position. The cracks are probably 1/4" to 1/2" wide, but the variation is hight probably reaches close to an inch at the worst part.

Badly cracked concrete - floor covering suggestions needed

That was pretty humorous! Anyway, I know the true correct way to fix it, but I'm not going there. It's just not worth it to me to redo the entire floor with us planning to move in a few years. Maybe patching the cracks/smoothing it out as best as possible and using the rubber roll-out garage...

    Need some professional advice (structural)

As was stated in another thread on flooring, we purchased our home almost 2 years ago now. It was built in the early 1900's, so the house has tons of charm and character. When we bought it though, the garage was a mess. The ceiling tiles and insulation were all falling down, half of the lights...

The ceiling tiles and insulation were all falling down, half of the lights didn't work, and so on. I have done quite a...
