I have narrowed my floor finish choices down to TS210 and ballistix sc. I will be using the shop mostly for hobby automotive work some light fab and the occasional wood project.
The floor is about 6 months old power troweled and does not bead water.
My main question with the ballistix is if...
Nothing too fancy with the final finish I am going to stain and seal with ts210. Professional epoxy is out of the budget at 1440sqft. I like LL's solution. To be honest what is most likely to happen for me is I will continue to look at it for the next couple weekends while doing other tasks on...
Super helpful information here guys appreciate it. I honestly didn't know that curling was a thing in concrete so I had to look that up. That said I did find some photos I thought I lost where you can see they poured the slab slightly higher in the area where the biggest discrepancy between the...

Interesting...
I am pretty sure that most epoxy companies will epoxy wood stairs but from what I have heard will not warranty it like they would on the concrete. I would assume that if they can get it to stick to wood stairs with foot traffic getting it to adhere to wood baseboard wouldn't be an issue. The...
Thanks for for quick reply. I am in Iowa Engineered drawings are not required, the county has specific guidelines for foundations based on the sq footage and type of building (stick built vs pole). As far as loads go I assume the rebar was tied into the footings as general principles or a...
Hello folks first post and it is an unfortunate topic. I recently started my build after lurking on these forums for quite some time. You can read the long story below but the short story is my new pour immediately started to delaminate and I am looking for the best option moving forward...
