In The Battle of Cheap 60 Gallon Compressor s Needed Quick Which Would You You Choose

No problem, the price you paid is right. $2100ISH, is high, we sell them for & $1895 in Minnesota all day long + fr8. Yes Rolair is in Hustaford, WI (sp?) If you turn down the pressure 100-130 psi, you will gain usable cfm. Also less heat and wear on pump/motor. Most people don't need...

Chinook K30 pump is a great pump made in Italy. It is a 2 stage pump, not single stage. 3 years ago I replaced a Rolair k30 80 gallon unit in a local carwash tunnel after 19 years of wet, environment. Pump still ran but legs were rusting out on tank. It was located right next to the car dryer...

The only issue I have with "Rapid Air" or pex is you can't eliminate the low spots. All of that moisture sits there, until you use a larger amount of air volume. The moisture then travels down stream towards your new paint job. Different story if you have an air dryer or desiccant type dryer...

PVC, don't do it. It might be rated for the pressure, but degrades over time. As mentioned above, PVC and oil(petroleum/ synthetic), (depending on type of oil, eats, degrades, weakens with time), sunlight might be an issue, maybe not in your case. PVC gets brittle the older it gets. PVC is...

    help identifying this compressor

That is definitely an "R" series Champion pump. Hard to tell from the picture, but looks like an R15. (It has the Cone shaped piston). Speed Aire is a private labeled unit sold by Grainger, for many years. If you find any #'s on it, call them, they should have records. B

    Air compressor direct

Quincy QT series pumps are OK for a light duty unit, or home garage. If for industrial use, stick with the 300 series. Other brands are good too, but the Quincy 300 series is the Cadillac of pumps. You will pay a premium for them. B Sent from my SM-N920T using Tapatalk

Hmm Dlc, Not familiar with that. Might have to search it, and thank you. On a side note, I cleaned a whole "2" shelves in the garage! (Baby steps, is what she calls it). I say big steps, I have lots more. B
