Re: Side of the road tool finds
When I was a kid I found a very large pair of channel locks on the side of the street (my dad still has them almost 40 years later).
Not really a tool but a couple of months ago I found a 10' or so piece of orange fire suppression pipe in front of my house...
When I worked at the body shop my old boss would use them to clean up the wheel on his hand held buffer. I would find super smooth/rounded flat tip screwdrivers around the shop and finally asked about them.
I find speed handles to be really handy for running in oil pan and valve cover bolts--mostly with new builds still on the stand. I guess it really comes down to personal preference.
I really hope they make that change--even though I am stuck with the stupid plastic latch system on my 56" box. I think the box is a good value for the money but that latch is just annoying.
I'm not familiar with those particular compressors but if you plan to use a cut-off tool you should plan to go with the 60 gallon tank...cut-off tools go through a lot more air then you would imagine.
I have found that the best way to search this site and many other forums is the "google advanced search". It seems that most forums don't have very robust search mechanisms of their own.
