Is this a Wilton vise or a cheap copy?

That's a wilton 745, not US made, and produced after the early 90s. I have one, I like it.

    Maybe Sears/Craftsman IS listening !

The problem here is that to be buying from other countries, we must continue selling to other countries. Without selling, there's no capitol to buy, and if we stop making things here, we have nothing to sell, so no money to buy, which leaves us not only a slave to other countries, but...

    More overpriced Snapon stuff.

Yeah, I agree, 1 and 2 look like decent deals, 3rd is too high. Maybe the new Orleans area has much lower cost of living than here though, which will adjust cost of everything.

    the tools of dead men

Tools, like guns, are items my wife knows to ask my brothers, my dad, or eBay about before selling. Also, just because I didn't pay much for something, does not mean its worth what i paid. I am a deal hunter. She should have enough in assets alone to cover getting me in the ground.

Snappy guy repoed a epiq today

The lista cabinets are awesome, but dont come with the same service. The other day a coworkers krl722 was failing to lock, the snapon guy came in, pulled the drawers out, cleaned out some old paperwork, and cleaned the lock channels and bars. No appointments, calls to cs, waiting on parts, etc.

    3/8" cordless with real power?

Is there a 3/8" cordless with a whole lot of torque? I would like something with 250ft/lbs and a break away of close to 400. Is it possible? I have read 15+ threads today about different cordless impacts, but can't find anything in 3/8 with tons of power. Do I need to go 1/2"?

Interesting Snap On 1/4" ratchet find...

If you decide to sell send me a pm. I have no collectors interest, but its not often that used hilock ratchets come up. And at the cost of a new one, a wrench has always worked ha

FLAT RATE MECHANICS Any secrets to being more productive and turning BIG hours??

I don't work on cars, but often time customers (pilots in my case) give a pretty ****** description of the problem.
