If you buy from harbor freight tools and have your receipts....

Got my check yesterday. The interesting thing is, I'm almost positive I chose the store credit option, but I ended up getting a check for the same amount instead. Whatever. Money is money.

    Harbor Freight Tool Class Action

Nope. Nothing. So glad I spent all time going back through several years of credit card receipts to pull it all together.

    Folding work table @ Woodcraft

In for 2! My garage has a cinderblock portion that sticks out about 2" past the wall on the bottom 1' or so - these are perfect because they fold up. I can easily put a 6' workbench on a side-wall where a car parks, and the block isn't an issue.

    Mechanix Gloves: BF sale

I don't know what these MSRP for, but when you stack coupons on the BF sales, you can get the basic Mechanix with the elastic wrist for something ridiculous like $8/pair. By far the best price I know of. When they have that sale, I usually stock up. I ordered 5 pair last time. Still have 3 new.

20% Mechanix gloves with code: WORK

I actually really like the 4x for yard gloves. They're much more abrasion resistant than the leather ones. The weakness on those is the stitching. Every pair I've had has given out on the pointer/middle finger stitching near the tips. Still good gloves if you get them on sale. Oh, and I do...

    2017 Lowe's deals/sales/clearance thread

Anybody who got one of these for a low price interested in parting with one for a reasonable amount? My current Dremel is like 15 years old, and the chucks are all worn out so they won't hold bits tight enough.

    Wiha multibit

Same - I was a bit disappointed to read a review on Toolguyd that the driver really only works with the Wiha double-ended bits...I'd have preferred if it would at least accept regular bits, but oh well...still in for 1 and excited to see how it works.

    CostCo Champion Dual-Fuel 9000/7000W Generator $549.99

If you can get by with smaller, I agree 100% - go smaller. The gas consumption is definitely my concern, but it's better than riding out Sandy with a 1000w Honda that I had to individually power a fridge or my sump pump to keep from losing all our food and flooding the basement. I've got a...

    CostCo Champion Dual-Fuel 9000/7000W Generator $549.99

Champion 7000W running/9000W peak dual-fuel portable generator $549.99 I was in the market for a large portable generator for emergency use at the house as I just recently had a transfer switch installed. I was about to snag this one when I saw it at Costco last week at $799.99, and then...

    2017 Lowe's deals/sales/clearance thread

I picked mine up this AM - Definitely way oversized box. I'm considering transferring them to a smaller draw-string bag and leaving them in my car. My current car set is less complete than this one, but it's in a MUCH small box. I'm happy getting it for $19, and there were more left, but I...

    2017 Lowe's deals/sales/clearance thread

$19 at my store. I don't need it at all, but for $19, I'll put it in my shed just to keep me from having to walk to the garage when I need something! I put an order in for in-store pick-up. We'll see if the employees grab it and cancel my order or not.

Lowes - New Free Parcel Shipping program, no min.

So what's the trick to this? I've added several items to my cart, and every single one says "Parcel Shipping Unavailable for this order." Does it only work if you have the store closest to you input into your order? ETA - I think I figured it out. It doesn't let you ship anything that's on...

    Amazon Scammer P.U. Products

Actually, what's been happening on Amazon isn't hacked accounts. It's a lot of "new merchants" that get set up simply to scam the system. I ordered some General Finishes Gel Stains from one vendor. The price was like 1/2 of what it was anywhere else. The order placed, and I never heard...
