What did you do "IN" your garage today?

Pulled my brand new 2023 Nissan 4x King Cab Frontier into our garage. Then I woke up... Spent time this morning breaking down cardboard boxes and crushing down a bunch of water, etc, plastic jugs for the recycle pickup next week. Got my crushed down soda (beer) cans ready to go as well. Wife...

Protecting epoxy from hot tires - tire runners, plastic mats, Racedeck?

We used four 18 x 18" rubber backed gray indoor/out door carpet 'tiles' that were placed so that the tires rested on them when the vehicle was parked (of course). Picked up such at a $ store.

Who makes the best flare nut wrenches?

I've had a set of metric Mac as well as a set of raised panel SAE Craftsman since the mid-late '80s. Both work well, but I think CM is just a bit better possibly due to them not being polished chrome. Seems that not being polished gives them a bit more grip on the flare nuts.

    Show your new tool arrivals

I don't need anymore pliers, well sort of. But I just might need to buy a Knipex pair just because. Does that make sense? Well of course it does. I mean this is the Garage Journal forum right?

Puma, the well known and respected Germany based cutlery manufacturer, has been offering a line of edged tools that consist of parts made in Germany that are shipped to and assembled in China. These knives, and the like, are ~ 50% lower in cost compared to nearly identical tools that are...

I just fill such 'cracks' with name brand silicone sealer that, of course, matches the color (or close to it).

Stowing a light utility trailer against the wall

Shortening the tongue on a trailer will make it more difficult to maneuver. This is especially true when backing up.
