I built the trailer about 9 or 10 years ago from scratch, so there is no manufacturer.
I would have no clue what it would cost to build in todays market. Koditten would be a better person to answer cost since he builds them now.
The cylinder are run by a Monark electric over hydraulic power...
$300 sounds like a good deal. Your not going to get a better deal. Unless you do it yourself and you'll still spend about half or more on materials to do it yourself. If you do it the right way and with proper materials.
Funny thing you should ask this now. I painted my plow truck after fixing the floors and cab corners a few weeks ago. I used farm implement paint (tractor paint). You can get it from Tractor supply (TSC) cheap. I forget what the primer cost. I think I paid around $50 for the gallon of paint. $20...
Yep just beat them no heat.
I use these, much easier and can be reuse on something else if needed.

You could use a unicoil from gates. Not sure what sizes they have, but I used it on a few heater hoses and it worked to keep the shape I wanted under the hood. You can almost make any shape you need. http://www.gates-unicoil.com/gallery_eng.cfm
You can do it, I have 2 in my garage plumbed into one line. I also put shut off valves on both so if I only need to run one, I just turn the other off and close the valve. If I leave the valve open with only one turned on it take forever to fill the tanks back up.
Try www.collistruckpartsonline.com I have dealt with them for years. They have a lot of older truck in great shape there. They could ship it to you. Might not save you any money to order one but it will save you a lot of time and aggravation.
Thanks for the advice again. I already drilled it at the tip of the crack, but then got pulled away for other things. I'm thinking about the advice giving here. I'm thinking about v-ing the crack on the front. Drilling and tapping from the side to pull it together and then brazing the the v in...
Hello,
I bought this coal stove the other day and either never noticed the crack or it cracked during transporting it home.
My question is What would be the best way to repair it?
I haven't welded cast in years and when I did it was only exhaust manifolds.
I'm just not sure about the pre...
Mine's the same temp it is outside, unless I out working in it. Then it's wood heat, usually gets up around 65-70. I have a 20 x 30 old garage with no insulation except for the new garage doors. One day I'll get around to the insulation.
Just a suggestion for the finish, if your not going to powder coat it. I painted my car trailer about 10 years ago, with metal etching primer and farm implement paint(satin black). It's held up pretty well and the road salt here in eastern P.A. Hasn’t ate the paint yet. The plus about implement...
Nice bumper, Don't worry about what people say about it. I like big bumpers. Bumpers were originally designed to take the impact of a hit or most of the impact, not crumble like they do now a days. I've had this bumper on my old truck in the pictures and I kept the bumper for my newer truck...
