Thank you all, sorry if I said it's wired currently to 220, it is currently wired to a 110 plug. I now understand how to wire the lead to the heater. I was just concerned that the rest of the wiring in the heater is correct for a 220 hook up and hasn't been changed since it has a 1110 plug on it.

It is currently wired for a 220 as it has a plug on it. It puts out little heat and the fan runs very slow. Just want to change it to a 220 and unsure which wires to change.

I have what I believe is a Dayton 3UG73. I bought it with a 110 plug but I believe it should be a 220. What wires do I change to make it 220 ? I have added 2 pics.
