I do not have casting capability, but I saw some 3/4 shaft adapter sleeves on ebay. I am not sure how to determine which is good for my engine.

That was what I was thinking of doing, but since I have machine shop equipment, I will try it myself. I might try using the part from the stator that fits on the taper and just enlarge the hole in the pulley to fit the stator shaft. I was hoping that there might be a workaround. Thanks anyway.
