I have a Black and Decker that must have fallen off a truck in front of my house a few years ago. Seems to run fine. Mostly use it in the shop cutting up smaller logs and branches, when the weather outside is bad and I don't feel like running a gas saw.

The thickness and type of pipe you will need, will depend on the intended use. I know you said "roll bar" but what kinda of application are we talking about? As for getting some tube bent, I would think a Off Road shop into fabrication would have bender and the right kind of tube too.

A friend of mine has does the same thing for years. But he's is inside.....Hasn't burnt down the shop.......Yet. I have a friend of my FIL that I give all my oil to.

Around here (Delaware) your looking at $20 a sheet finished. I did a 14' high, 1600 sf ceiling in my shop this past winter by myself. Used a jack and I worked off a rolling scaffold. A young man game for sure if your in a rush....If your in no hurry....It's doable.

I just built a 24' long bench too. The one half I made 32" deep and the other half I made 24" deep. The deeper end is where the vice goes and heavy dirty work is done and not much going against the wall. The shallow side is where I going to put the cabinets and other things I need to reach...

Not sure if I should ask here or the heating - a/c forum....But here goes. What's a good brand name to go with? I just got my stove out of storage and it got some surface rust where some of the old paint flaked off. I know I need to sand or wire brush it down and get it as clean as possible...

How about run a strip of hot mix at the joint if you use millings? Are you planning to put a concrete pad in at a later date? If so, I'm not sure if millings would be your best bet. Maybe crusher run or 57 stone and add a bunch of fines to tighten it up.
