Nice set! That’s the second time I’ve seen that white color on the drawer fronts. The first time I saw it I thought the guy that owned it had done it. Yours looks original, I like it.

Outofbounds, I have the exact same stack, same color. Mine has the huot decal from the 40s in the bottom right corner of the front cover on the top box. I can’t tell from your pics, look in that spot for paint discoloration about 8 to 10 inches square.

just my 2 cents worth. i wouldnt even consider the second box, way over priced, the first one is one that i have always wanted though, i really like the drawer lay out. it is overpriced as well but if you could get him to come down below 300 to say 280. while still at the high end in my opinion...

the third line does say made in usa but if you want it exact put a period between each letter (u.s.a.)

good score, i like them both. any way you can post a couple of close up pictures of the inside of the door on the one with the glass in it? im interested to see how hard it is to get the glass in and out.

it sounds like youve got a workable plan for getting it under control. stick with it and post up some pictures when you have a useable space again. good luck.

i saw some at sears a couple weeks ago. up by the register in the tool dept. they had several boxes of them. i think there were 3 pieces in each box.

thanks for posting. glad to know places like this are out there. if i wasnt on the other side of the country, i would surely stop in. maybe someday.
