A Bridgeport style mill has a drawbar that's around 2'? Long, so getting incorrect cut threads to start/tighten down isn't possible, or makes it miserable. It's more a matter of not being able to get it tightened down. Thread a bolt or tap in it and just make sure that there's plenty of depth...

If you haven't already, Chuck it up in your mill. I bought one of each, the 50mm threaded fine and cuts beautifully. The 63 though, the draw bar home was drilled straight.... But the threads were not cut straight. Requested a replacement and haven't confirmed that one yet. Note worthy...
