This is the right outcome. Sometimes you just need to escalate within CS.

I bought this a few years back, and it was made in Germany. But, more recently, I bought a 6-inch that was made in Asia (Malaysia, I think), which was contained nowhere in the Amazon description or the outside of the box - frustrating.
