Yeah, the electrical specs aren't hard to meet, it's the physical size that makes it a challenge to find in order to do this without hacking up the motor cover. Can size is ~3.125"L x ~1.75"

Thanks for the fast response. Guess the recall kit won't help me at this point. My shroud and motor end cap are still okay. Motor itself seems okay too. If anyone has a source for replacement capacitors they could share, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Can you tell me specifically what's in the recall kit? Is it just the outer shroud(s) or is it also the motor end cap? If also the motor end cap, does it include the start and run capacitors? I bought my 33 gal horizontal Craftsman compressor new around 2005 and this weekend it tripped the...
