    Concrete paint.

Guys I think it’s going to hold up great for that area. 2 coats of clear and I see zero issues going to arise, everything seems durable. Again not driving cars into this area just foot traffic, or wheeling pressure washer in and out For places like laundry room, workshop etc, I think the...

What did you do "IN" your garage today?

This week I organized my garage, and painted my corner I’ve neglected for years. Tried seal Krete 1 part epoxy 2 layers, and then 2 layers of clear coat seal Krete. Trying to make it all nice! Mopped and organized

Fingers crossed the paint clear and everything plays together. 2nd coat is down, put a little heater and fan on low to get nice dry air flowing around

    Concrete paint.

I’m wishful, because it’s just a small utility area. I went ahead bought the clear coat from Walmart for $38 Just laid down my first coat. 1 1/2 hours ago. Putting 2nd coat in at 2 hour mark.

You know, it’s cheap **** but I tried it. Seal Krete, got it from Lowe’s they had a dented can for 25 bucks lol. I brushed it clean, leaf blew. It was power washed awhile back, so it’s pretty clean. Anyway I tossed 2 layers down, and I have experienced zero peeling anywhere. I’ve tried...

    Gladiator Garage Cabinets

I got all my gladiator stuff for like 80% off. I was price matching sears etc when they are going out of business and Lowes would even add 10% military on top of it, I paid 150 dollars each for each of my chest cabinets, and 150 for my table, I think 150-200 each for my hanging wall things too...

I don’t think I really have humidity issues. Never notice it if so. Will put a humidity measuring device out there

i have shared walls with my house. so the house naturally warms up garage. It’s always been cold in summer and warm in winter. It never freezes fluids or anything in winter. I also cellulose packed the exterior garage walls few years back. So it has 16 inches cellulose on attic, exterior...

Insulation- opinion on going from R37-40 to R60.

I went 18 inches all way across attic for most part. I think it'll be fine. I ended up spending 300 bucks in material, I added 6 inches to the garage making it 16 inches total. the garage was instantly noticeable going from 10 inches to 16 next day. it was cold outside and I walked into garage...

Edit Neighbor confirmed we have 1/2 our house was built at same time and he said he has 1/2 with same 24 inch oc. But he thinks that if I have no sag now with 12-14 inches he wouldn’t think few more inches would hurt anything

I am assuming its 1/2 since was built in 1967. did they use 5/8 back then?

Insulation- opinion on going from R37-40 to R60.

I am not eligible for any programs, I have too much insulation. The concern is if my 1/2 drywall + 24 inch OC (1967 built home) if the drywall can support the weight to go to 17 inches from 12-14 average. Honestly if I knew 100% for sure, I would totally take my insulation to 20 inches, but that...

Update. Does it matter if its 24 inches OC between joist? also. I have 10 inches above my garage, and I have 12-14 inch average throughout the attic. (photo of the 10 inch is the ceiling area of garage) I would like to make that r60 definitely. I just swapped the halogen bulbs for LED's up...
