Here's two 12" clamps I picked up for 10$. Tomorrow I will paint and replace the broken thumbscrew on the one and try to find a pad for the Proto 412. Any guesses as to the maker or age of the other 12" clamp? It has a "D" in a circle in the middle of the clamp and an "L" at the top of the clamp.
I can't for the life of me find the C Clamp thread similar to this thread. By chance can anyone link it?

Just picked up this Grinder for 40$. Good or Bad it looks like it would be a fun restoration for the Son and myself. Trying to teach him the value and history of USA made tools. Are the side shields original? They look different from most pictures I have seen. Figured a good tear down and paint...
