Hello all, I'd like to get a compressor for the garage. I'd like to be able to inflate tires, and run an impact gun to change tires... basic stuff. I have no idea what to shop for. The guns all seem to be 90psi... is this correct? I'd like it to be relatively compact... I hit a few stores...

Its more about safety. I'm not a fan of jacks and axle stands. I want to be able to roll under the vehicle on a creeper to do any work.

Scissor lift is great for wheels and suspension work, but not so great for other aspects like the middle underbody of the car, installing headers, exhaust work, trans etc... I drive a Corvette so undercar clearance would be an issue with the scissor lift too. That and personal preference.
