A detail shop = wax, soap, compounds and other residue on and under the floor that activate when wet. Great over acted drama though. For the record, sanding a floor actually makes it more slippery as the contact surface becomes less. by sanding the floor and seeming...
Due to the amount of negative posts in the other thread I am reposting this as a new thread hoping to start an honest friendly conversation.
Here's my follow up video. Before watching please read.
I still support RaceDeck, I will continue to recommend the flooring when people ask.
My original...
I've tried plenty of waterproof shoes/boots and every pair got wet inside after washing a car (including the $200 Gore-Tex Danners). This is when I decided to buy Muck Boots. I change out of them while detailing inside the shop but regularly walk through the shop to the office to change into...

My original video did include "acting," not exaggeration of the slipperiness I experienced.
This video includes none of that, I tried to keep the test as...
Hmm, haven't heard of them before.. I wonder if these Modutile Drain Tiles offer more traction than the FreeFlow. Either way I'm not boxing up the tiles I have, once sanded they aren't bad.
I moved into my shop last spring and it had an ugly painted floor. Lots of cracks and imperfections plus the paint had started peeling up on all my customers tires.
I decided I wanted to drastically improve the look of the shop. I'm leasing so epoxy wasn't a worthy investment plus the floor...
So here in a little bit I'll have some time to film a second video. Because nearly everyone here writes off the entire issue as "acting" I want to perform more of a scientific test. (and nobody has offered to make a video showing their tiles) (and nobody has made the offer to come to my shop)...
straps is not talking about the response when I called Snaplock, he is talking about Jorgen's response in the comments and in this thread. In the comments on the video he definitely was not professional.
Yes, they did offer the option of returning the product. I wasn't expecting them to fly a...
I'll repeat myself one more time. In the video I promoted RaceDeck flooring, I even have a link to Autogeek, where I purchased it, in the description. I too researched for slipperiness before purchasing and found nothing. Because I found nothing in my search and the flooring was slippery in my...
When he stated that my floor could be contaminated that told me I need a clean new surface to do the test on. And when he said I "acted it out" that meant I need to do a controlled experiment without any human variables that could interfere. Funny thing is... A controlled lab test isn't even...
Walking slowly is fine, but like I said, in a commercial setting you aren't walking slowly and carefully with each step. I made the video to show that sanding fixes the slipperiness issue and stated I will do that to the entire floor so that I can keep it and use it. Seriously, in the video I...

FTA: "I tried steaming the tiles, I tried rubbing it with all purpose cleaner... nothing really seemed to do the trick"
Jorgen: "A detail shop = wax, soap, compounds and other residue on and under the floor that activate when wet"
