the Knipex is more for stripped screws and general nut grabbing, the LN47ACF is more of a tight space pulling and yanking type of tool in my experience. You can see the front facing jaws on the Knipex, fairly similar to the vamplier teeth. Also the Knipex is designed for way more lever action...
