My experience as a hobbyist is that impact sockets wear and deform over time. Which doesn't matter when it comes to using them on an impact tool. They just need to fit well enough to transfer the impacts. I'm sure professionals manage to wear them out to the point where it is a problem but...
I wouldn't bother unless you're having rust issues.
What I do is just clean the tools I used after I finish a project. I figure that keeps them clean and protected.
That makes no sense at all. Drum brakes are used because its very easy to design a cable operated parking/ebrake system for them. Same reason why they're used on trailers.
Disc brakes require a hydraulic system or in the case of parking/ebrakes they are usually a combination of electric and...
Does that mean Project Farm needs to update every review on a daily basis as prices change and new sales pop up?
I think he goes with MSRP or what a normal price would be for the item on a random day of the year. Not necessarily the best possible price. Which is the correct approach for what...
My only issue with it is that people have pointed out its pepto bismol pink and I just can't stop seeing it that way now.
But otherwise? If I was spending that kind of money on a toolbox it would be a fun pastel color.
Careful putting those stubby bits into a regular screw driver. There's a very good chance they'll go in too deep and you'll have a hell of a time getting them back out.
As a gamer I resent your insinuation that we have more money than sense.
- Written from my computer powered by a $2000 GPU cooled by a $1500 custom hardline water cooling setup I made to squeeze an extra couple percent of performance out if it and my $1000 CPU all of which I use to play 20 year...
I've thought about the screwdriver further and I think I'll get one. I still stand by all my previous concerns and think its terribly priced and not even a product I feel has a ton of value but:
I've track of how much time I've wasted wishing that various tools were just slightly more to my...
He was actually challenged on that on one of the videos. I can't recall which but he openly admitted that his bits aren't anything special. They're just off the shelf things purchased in bulk from an existing manufacturer. That was apparently one of the reasons they redesigned their bit holder...
I think he came to his senses and put it in writing for the backpack and screw driver.
Anyways in regards to this screw driver I sat through the full live stream and other videos. They did a tear down and had their engineer explain a lot of the details and design decisions. Lots of great...
I have random junk tools I'll loan out. I'll also occasionally loan out specialty tools that no one could possibly forget they borrowed.
My good stuff though? The only person I'd let borrow it is my neighbour because I know from experience he cares about his tools as much as I care about mine...
