    "Harry Homeowner" Tools

Agree with the list thus far. I would, however, make a suggestion on tool quality. For things that will see a lot of use, I'd go top shelf. For example, the Williams 29-piece starter sets in the blue metal boxes (USA made) are super high quality and won't break the bank. And, a couple of...

    Strut nut socket??

I know Hazet has some in their catalog for German cars - you may want to check and see if they have any sizes that work for GMCs.

Need to find a SO dealer...

I googled my SO guy. Turns out his route is on the other side of town, but he's happy to let me know where he'll be when I call. Already spent a few grand with him...

    visited tool truck

If I had to guess, I'd say they are made in both places. The Spanish line may be a second source for the SO ratchets, and primary for the Bahco ones (and vice versa). This would be a logical explanation for SO's insistence that the D80's are US made, yet have no markings to support the assertion.

    Snap-on KR660 prices?

What should it be worth? I mean, do boxes linearly depreciate to zero with age even if well preserved, or do they eventually flatten out?

I'd also like to say that they've definitely earned my repeat business. Extremely fast shipping on in-stock items.

3/8" Breaker Bar Question: Snap On vs. Proto

I haven't really beat on it, as I have a 14 inch 1/2" Kobalt bar that I use for lug nuts and heavier tasks. It gets used building AR uppers, usually attached to a strap wrench. So far, no spreading and no noticeable flex. The harshest task it'll ever see is removing a transmission drain bolt on...

Buying a Snap-On or Matco box new from the dealer?

Certainly tagging this thread for outcome. I'm kinda on the other end of the spectrum from the OP. I'm an engineer and would never forgive myself if I bought a sh!tbox... but I also have some space considerations. My main hobby is shooting, and my reloading/gunsmithing bench...er benches...
