Running hose is fine. zip tie it to the rafters, and I would recommend putting a filter on the line. Or, you could get pvc pipe, run it along the rafters, and run the air hose through the pipe to protect the hose from getting cut or spliced into. Be creative man, it doesn't have to be perfect...
