    Yea, Steinmetz, You are correct 93 ARS was at Castle, AFB CA from 1949 to 1995 so that is most likely when the box was in service. They moved to Fairchild AFB, WA in 1995. BTW I have no idea the ECL number means. I asked a couple of AF Maintance people from the 60s and they had no idea...

    Help IDing Kennedy Box

    Box belonged to Tech Sgt (T/S) Pennal of 93 rd Air Refueling Squadron (ARS) out of Fairchild AFB, WA. The number below the name is his serial number. I think that the use of serial numbers went out late 60's, I know that by 1973 they were using social security numbers. Hope this helps. Keith
