Acquired this Wilton vise 940 stamped"Acme Tool New York" a few years ago and just wondering if anyone has one or any info on them. Mine has 12-50 on the slide as the manufacture and warranty start date. I haven't seen many of these around, thanks gg54

It is very tough keeping the rust off of the bare metal, but I enjoy recoating the vises It's relaxing:beer:. I took a closer look at the Wilton 840 marked "Acme Tool New York" and I see Acme Tool but I will strip it down soon and post pics. I will take a look with the old paint off.

I got it off eBay and you don't want to know, with shipping it was 250.00

it was 75.00. i thought it was fair the fact that the jaws were in great shape and the wrench was there, i was sold.:thumbup:
