It's a good saw. Doesn't have dust collection or belt guard, but it's a good saw to have. I had to put tires feom Amazon on the wheels and got blades made from timberwolf.
Yeah very few parts on this saw, and they seem to be pretty common or can be made easily from stock. The only thing I figure that would make this saw obsolete would be for the cresent shaped cast iron frame to break.
I ended up purchasing this saw for 60 bucks, and found this post afterward. The shafts turn in bronze oiled bushings. I cleaned these up a bit. The top one looks fine. The bottom shaft has two bushings. The bushing closest to the drive pulley has some wear indicated by shallow grooves. I...
