I needed new long ram jack for my 32 year old engine lift. They have this air over hydraulic on clearance for $79, when they finally dug one out of the warehouse it was tagged $50. Check your local store for pricing, it wont be more than $79.
In the 1st pic the floor drain is maybe 1/3 - 1/4 the way from the pillar to the lift post. In the second pic it makes sense, just the angle of the shot.
Thats a good car guy space. Everything is off the shop floor and on those overhead racks, I would have to remove the racks limiting suv lift height. I don't know the area. There are similar sized lots on my street up here in Canada, on my neighbourhood they would be asking $3 million Canadian.
I've cut down many. The last one I needed a very shallow 10mm that also needed to have a very thin wall. I started with a dewalt 1/4" nut driver, spun it in the drill while cutting it down with a flap disc.
RPF1, that spoiler, flares, you have an import twist on your mods.
by the way, did you know there's another similarly titled club out here in the Vancouver BC area... Ghetto Garage Racing aka GGR
Another vote for a shed if you have the space.
We always had a large storage shed growing up. The lawnmower lived there, go cart, old bikes, all the shovels and rakes. If I had one now I'd fill it with the same, the only downside I can see now would be rodents.
That's really good that you found the exact rebuild kit.
For other tire machine pneumatics, I have a couple of old hunter machines. I'm up in Canada and the cylinders were $700 Canadian each. I could not get them apart to rebuild. I managed to match them up with cylinders on ebay, I got 2 for...
Yes, the tank. I retired a similar unit a few years ago after having a look inside the tank. I would open the drain and see what comes out, then stick a bore scope inside and see how good/bad it is before spending any money.
