How thick is the frame material? Did you ever fix the flexing problem? Anyone with a baldor know how thick the frame is on those and if it is an aluminum or steel frame?

    The Machine Work Thread

KM, You should do a thread on your machine buying process. I to have been looking at machines but have height limitations. What is the max height of your TM-1 after you took the risers off of it?

How do you chamfer a tapped hole?

https://www.mscdirect.com/product/details/05751466 I use one of these to deburr holes. screw some all-thread in and chuck it up in a hand drill, it works great.

Mpmckenzie, great grinder. I think that you could mount a delta mobile base wheel on the front of your grinder and it would solve you mobility issues. Rockler makes one as well. It should be pretty easy to replicate one like it. http://www.rockler.com/power-tool-mobile-base-hardware

CAT: the tag on mine is almost illegible as well, I could barely make out the Curtis on mine. Mine came from the Cessna factory in Wichita. I believe the top wheel swiveling is just a byproduct of the way the tracking works, on mine you loosen the black knob and it will pivot the top wheel. I...

Cat: I don't believe it is a homemade attachment. I have one very similar, mine has a 2"x48" belt on it. I have not been able to find any information on it either.

I'm not sure what the thread size of that handle should be but McMaster has a 1/4"-20 with a stainless handle for less than $25.
