How thick is the frame material? Did you ever fix the flexing problem?
Anyone with a baldor know how thick the frame is on those and if it is an aluminum or steel frame?

I use one of these to deburr holes. screw some all-thread in and chuck it up in a hand drill, it works great.
Mpmckenzie, great grinder. I think that you could mount a delta mobile base wheel on the front of your grinder and it would solve you mobility issues. Rockler makes one as well. It should be pretty easy to replicate one like it.

Yes, It is variable speed, I have it hooked to a VFD right now, I will finish up the stand this week and post a final picture of it in my garage.
I am not positive of my final cost, but I can tell you that the cost of those machines is what drove me to build my own.

Cat: I don't believe it is a homemade attachment. I have one very similar, mine has a 2"x48" belt on it. I have not been able to find any information on it either.

That is a 4" Wilton for scale.
It's not modified, I have one that is similar, just much bigger, haven't been able to find too much information about them though.
