I have to agree with the others that said Nest. I have been with them for 6 years now (since they were known as Dropcam). I have been very pleased with them. They have been overall very reliable and the video is high quality.
Every cat we have ever had has chosen us. People always seem to pick a farm to drop them off at, usually instead of having them spayed or neutered. There are always lots of nice animals at the local shelter as well!
I did an “emergency” brake job on my truck. My wife has been using it to trailer her horses around and I don’t drive it as often as I used to. It was metal to metal. She plans on taking it again in the morning!
+1 on this. I have had my Dropcam (now Nest) for a couple years now. I've never had any problem. Video is saved for a week and it will notify me immediately if there is any motion or sound (if I want it to).

Initial first aid is usually accomplished with paper towels, just because they are usually near by. Then, if needed, I'll reach for band-aids (I prefer the cloth ones) or super glue.
